Well what a great season - it was "raining" Fillies here this season - as well as the end to a very long drought! How blessed we've been with this last drop of Playboy foals.
Blue came into the world very early on Australia Day morning - and with the red hair and this DOB it wasn't hard to decide on a name for this one. Already showing a wonderful temperament and so much character! A very QH looking filly with the beautiful dun dilution.

Another great testimonial - 2012 - "Accompanying a photo of Blue completely covered in a huge orange tarp...So in about 10mins this is the result. She walked around with it on and over her head and stood on her rope and both sides of the tarp etc. with not a single spooky bone in her body. Pretty amazing since she hadn't been out of the paddock for about 2 weeks and has had truly once a week handling if she's lucky lol! I'm getting away with a lot with my little Blue girl and it's all thanks to the brilliant groundwork done from day 1. A striking young man with fantastic long straight legs that go all the way up! Should mature 15hh plus...Will make sensational show prospect and although solid, his striking dilute dun markings will make him a beautiful halter and ridden horse. Aptly named by our 5 year old son as this colt is "red" and he has a very unusual lightening bolt mark on his off foreleg. Unfortunately not enough white to get him across the line but a real stunner none the less and available at weaning. Will definitely hold his own in the showring and very trainable. SOLD

On the night we were up watching for changes in the wind due to fires threatening we were blessed instaed with this little man - known as "Stix" this colt is a gorgeous package - again another solid register colt - but with his deep red chestnut coat and white boots we think he's still pretty special. Well this lad surprised us all by shedding out to a gorgeous Liver Chestnut - the boldest, bravest fellow - a real character - I swear he's "been here before"!

DNA tested positive for tobiano and overo so will be a great colour producer in the future.
